Dr. Ajay Aggarwal is a Clinical Oncologist and visiting Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Cancer Policy (King’s College London). He is currently undertaking an NIHR Doctoral Research Fellowship at The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine where he is investigating the impact of provider choice on outcomes for men with prostate cancer. He is also the Oncology coordinator for The National Prostate Cancer Audit based at The Royal College of Surgeons of England
He graduated from Guy’s, Kings’ & St Thomas’ Medical school in 2004 having attained a BSc in Management at Imperial College London. He has an MSc in the Science of Cancer from The Institute of Cancer Research and an MSc in Health, Population and Society from The London School of Economics, where he undertook research in complex health systems and behavioural public policies. He has had international experience working at the World Health Organisation in Geneva, researching strategies for the diagnosis of TB in low and middle-income countries.
