Robert Riviello, MD, MPH is an Acute Care and Burn Surgeon at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He serves as the Director of Global Surgery Programs at the BWH Center for Surgery and Public Health. Robert’s life’s work is focused on surgical delivery for destitute sick and injured patients and on developing and training the surgical human resources needed to create equity in care. He currently serves as the program director for the Brigham and Women’s Hospital / Harvard Medical School engagement in the Rwanda Human Resources for Health Program.
